Understudy
Curtain Call Theatre, Caldmere
The Curtain Call's costumes for its spring production of 'Midsummer' have gone missing overnight — along with a small lockbox of petty cash. Someone knew exactly where to look.
Everyone has something to hide.
The queen of Caldmere's stage. Talented, narcissistic, and capable of extraordinary cruelty in the name of art. Everyone auditions. Not everyone survives.
The most competent person in any room and the least likely to mention it. Builds sets, runs lights, manages egos, and keeps the Curtain Call from literally and figuratively collapsing.
Tends a remarkable garden on the island. Supplies herbs to Wren & Finch and makes tinctures half of Caldmere swears by. Has a knowledge of plant toxicology she frames as 'folk medicine.'
Can you name the culprit?
Read the case file, interrogate the suspects, and make your accusation — five guesses to crack it. The deduction board and the solution are for detectives only.
