Everyone has something to hide.
31. Bellwick dropout (left Dr. Osei's marine biology program abruptly). Sharp, charismatic, restless. Hears every conversation in her shop and trades in social currency the way some people trade in cash.
22. Creative writing senior. Quiet, observant, gently anxious. Writes everything down in Moleskine notebooks — thinks he is gathering material for fiction. Is actually building a forensic record of Caldmere without realizing it.
39. Former competitive sailor, shoulder injury at 26 ended his racing career. Athletic, political, adaptable. Charming but calculating. The smile doesn't always reach his eyes.
