Opening Night Damage
Curtain Call Theatre, Caldmere
Silas Okafor's hand-painted set for Curtain Call's summer opener was meant to be the most beautiful thing on the stage. When the curtain rose on opening night, it was the most ruined.
Everyone has something to hide.
The queen of Caldmere's stage. Talented, narcissistic, and capable of extraordinary cruelty in the name of art. Everyone auditions. Not everyone survives.
The most competent person in any room and the least likely to mention it. Builds sets, runs lights, manages egos, and keeps the Curtain Call from literally and figuratively collapsing.
The most talented performer in Caldmere and she knows it. Charismatic, competitive, insecure beneath the bravado. Funny in a way that occasionally draws blood.
