The Brine, Caldmere
Marcus Quill was found dead at the foot of The Brine's interior staircase on Friday night — his brother's bar, his brother's building, and a fall that the medical examiner says didn't happen the way it looks.
Everyone has something to hide.
52. Retired commercial fisherman, blew out his back at 40. Massive, quiet, runs his bar like a deck — with authority and minimal words. His moral code is simple and absolute. Banned-for-life list is long.
29. Five-foot-four, 130 pounds, the most effective bouncer The Brine has ever had. Former amateur boxer. Loud, funny, physical. Reads a room's energy before it turns.
39. Former competitive sailor, shoulder injury at 26 ended his racing career. Athletic, political, adaptable. Charming but calculating. The smile doesn't always reach his eyes.
